  • I read online reviews about this shop. I went and talked to Robbie and mechanic Armando about a month ago. I knew immediately these gentlemen were knowledgeable about autos and were honest. I had them replace a radiator on my mother's car and recently they repaired my rack and pinion and outer tie rods. You will not find a better shop and value in southwest Houston. Possibly not in all of Houston. Walk in with a great attitude like your are visiting family and they will treat you like family. My permanent shop for auto repairs.

  • Nexar has me down as a customer for life. They were there for me for six years now since I've gone through a number of cars with a number of issues (Houston roads are not kind to vehicles, lol.) Most recently I went there because my car was making a strange sound. The ABS and traction lights were on. Let me add that these guys never turn you away. I would think that a shop like their's would be very busy, considering their customer service, yet they treat you like you're their one and only customer. No matter what, whether it is for a state inspection or something more complex, they welcome you at any time and have your car ready ASAP. They clearly explained to me what was wrong -- my bearing to one of my tires was bad. That aside, they also secured my hanging bumper which was damaged by someone who hit my car and ran. PLUS they topped off the air in my tires. These gentlemen know that a good reputation is priceless and they want to take care of the community. Most of all, they want you to be safe on the road! I live across town and will always go to them, no matter what. Love you guys! Thank you!

  • Friendly and amazing staff. Brought our car in because it was making a sound, traction light and ABS lights were on. They said a bearing needed to be replaced and perhaps a sensor too. Turned out, only the bearing needed to be replaced AND they reattached my hanging bumper for free and put air in all of my tires to make the low pressure light go off. These guys are the real deal you can trust. They're here to take care of people.

  • Middle of June and the ac is cutting out on one of our work trucks. While my crew took lunch break NEXAR diagnosed, repaired, and had us back on the road making money. The price was more than fair it was great!!!! Highly recommended!!!! Firestone wanted the truck for half a day and twice as much money. NEXAR told me exactly what they were doing and no high pressure sales.

  • Great place that saved me from a bad place... read below if interested. Bad place was Exxon at San Felipe and Fountainview Exxon was dishonest - I went by this gas station to get a quick inspection done. They failed me and said I needed new brakes. Something in my gut made me not trust this guy. He said the brake job would be $450 for rear brakes. I said that's a ridiculously high rate. And he said ok, let's make it $375. I said ok, but as i sat there I thought, no something seems wrong. I told him i wanted to cancel this he said I already ordered the part and I said well i need to cancel still. He then said well I can't because we are already working on your car. I walked outside and saw my car was still sitting out front and told him, no you are not. I got in my car and left. I took it to Nexar auto repair and asked them to look at my brakes without any background on story. I asked if i needed new rear back brakes and he said no you still have time on these. I then asked him to do an inspection and he passed me. He also said they would charge $275 for the brake job and I will go there in a few months when i really need it done.
